Start counting down the days to a unique experience!
Leslie Castle dates back to the 14th Century. We invite our guests to relax in and enjoy the Great Hall; the cosy fireside sofas of the Withdrawing room and superb views of the garden; or snuggle up in our Baronís Retreat with a book or game from our shelves, or plan a day out from the comfort of a fire side seat.
The old kitchen with its vaulted ceiling and huge fireplace is now the Breakfast Room where you will be served at a pre arranged time to suit you between 8am and 10am. We offer a continental and full cooked breakfast, using the finest local produce where possible. Cereals, pastries, fruit, yogurt and juices are available on a buffet with cooked breakfast being made to order.
The Castle is owned by the Baron of Leslie and is surrounded by rolling hills. With countryside perfect for walking, hiking, fishing, golfing, or just relaxing.
Make a special trip to the Speyside Whiskey Festival in the Malt Whisky Capital of Scotland even more extraordinary by making your base at Leslie Castle and using Britainís most northerly heritage railway to get there. You will pass some of the best scenery to be had in this part of Scotland on the way. 10 minutes from Leslie Castle is Insch railway station, with regular links to Keith station where the Keith & Dufftown light railway starts.
